Nice little warm (friendly) cozy lodge by Mt. Snow. There are many reasons to recommend it:

It was perfect for what we were looking for. We were a ski club group of about 30. Hot tub (a requirement for a ski lodging place in my opinion-important for those sore skiing muscles. I think it could seat 8 at a time. towels provided). Everyone seemed to know that it only sat 8 and there was never a waiting line. Rooms basic (was a tv-never watched-also large tv in one of the living rooms, a special tray to put wet boots, no fridge), charming in their old school way. If you are looking for basic, clean and comfortable, this is it.

This is the second time we have stayed at Big Bears Lodge with Steve and Caroline and have really enjoyed both times. We come up from CT to have some quiet time away and peace. The rooms are nice and clean, the grounds are well kept and my son loves the giant playscape in back.

A nice, clean, comfortable place to stay. The owners were very nice and accommodating. Breakfasts were very sufficient with a home-cooked style.

Went to a mystery weekend with a friend and stayed at Big Bears Lodge, a wonderful weekend had by all. The lodge was very clean, with comfortable beds. The staff was wonderful. Full breakfast in AM, coffee was great. The mountains of Vermont of were beautiful this time of year.

We stayed in a room with a queen and a bunk bed with our too young sons. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable. The full English style breakfast was first class. The location is incredibly convenient being one minute from Mt. Snow.
